If you go on a tour of the statue of liberty you could see the torch exhibit. The exhibit includes the original torch from 1886. There is a much altered flame in the lobby. The torch is overlooked from the second floor. There is a display on the history of the torch. They explain the various alterations through diagrams. There is a famous bronze plaque,called the New Collosus. The poem written on it is famous.
